We are a family business established in 1978 by the late Mr Gorge Aburrow, so it is only fitting that his son, Trevor, took over as Managing Director.


We specialise in scaffolding services for the industrial, domestic and private sector, for hire and labour. We also carry out rig work for the oil industry and ships.


G L Scaffolding is a member of the Construction Industry Training Board (C.I.T.B.) and achieved an Investor in People Award in 2004

    We recently used GL Scaffolding Services to provide us with a SSOW and I must advise that the overall service provided was nothing short of first class and most refreshing. 


    They were most accommodating when we required tweaks and changes to the scaffolding setup to facilitate the progression of our works, their attitude to H&S culture and rules on-site was embraced and they integrated well with our work force.


    I could not recommend GL Scaffolding Services highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend them to another contractor or to use them again on another project.
